How long is the Amalfi Coast private boat tour?

The full-day tour lasts 7 to 8 hours — departing Sorrento around 9:00 AM and returning by 5:00 PM. The entire route is 45+ nautical miles of stunning coastline.

What's included in the Amalfi Coast tour?

Licensed English-speaking captain, fuel, hotel pickup in Sorrento, snorkeling gear, beach towels, welcome drinks, water, Bluetooth speaker, and full insurance. Lunch and Grotta dello Smeraldo entry are paid separately.

Can I start the tour from Positano or Amalfi instead of Sorrento?

Yes, we can arrange departure from Positano, Amalfi, Praiano, or Maiori. Pricing adjusts based on the starting port — contact us for a custom quote.

What is the Grotta dello Smeraldo and do I have to pay?

The Grotta dello Smeraldo (Emerald Grotto) is a sea cave near Conca dei Marini with water that glows green from underwater sunlight. Entry is €5 per person, paid on site. It's optional — your captain will advise.

Can we stop for lunch at a specific restaurant?

Absolutely. If you have a favorite restaurant in Amalfi, Praiano, or Positano, just tell us and your captain will dock there. We also have recommendations for family-run trattorie the tourists haven't found yet.

Is the tour suitable for families with kids?

Very much so. The swim stops in sheltered coves are safe for children, and the scenic cruising is a great alternative to hot crowded beaches. Life jackets in child sizes are onboard.

What if the weather is bad?

Safety first. If conditions are unsafe we offer free rescheduling or a full refund. You'll hear from us at least 12 hours in advance if we need to make changes.

Can I add a sunset extension?

Yes, many guests extend the return to catch the sunset from the water — an extra 1-2 hours with a sunset aperitivo onboard. Ask about the add-on when booking.
